Truax Law Group Welcomes Attorney Christian Olaya to Its Construction Litigation Practice
AVON, OHIO — Truax Law Group proudly announces that attorney Christian Olaya has joined the firm as a litigation associate, bringing courtroom experience and an analytical, engineering-trained approach to its construction and civil litigation practice.

As a litigation associate, Christian works alongside the firm’s litigation team. He handles legal research, motions, and litigation strategy on behalf of Truax Law Group’s construction and business clients.
Christian arrives at Truax Law after serving in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, where he managed 15 to 20 active cases at a time. Those cases were high-stakes, emotionally charged proceedings operating on tight 90-day timelines. The experience sharpened Christian’s courtroom instincts and helped him develop the steady judgment that litigation demands.
“I’m just trying to use my skills to solve my clients’ problems,” Christian says. “Know the law, be an expert on the facts of my client’s cases, work with opposing counsel to find a resolution if we can, and litigate tactically to keep our clients in the best strategic position.”
Earlier in his career, he worked as a legislative auditor for the State of Colorado and as a workers’ compensation attorney. He studied computer science at Washington University in St. Louis before deciding he wanted to help solve people’s problems, rather than computer problems.
